Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Academy Takes a Loss

New Life Christian Academy and Chilton Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but New Life Christian Academy had to settle for second. They lost 61-35 to the Chilton Christian Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-27 back in November of 2024.

Chilton Christian Academy was led to victory by Cayman Hamilton and Joshua Langston. Hamilton almost dropped a triple-double with 27 points, nine rebounds, and 12 steals, while Langston dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hamilton has scored at least a third of Chilton Christian Academy's points. TJ Lyon was another key player, putting up no points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

New Life Christian Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chilton Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.

New Life Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chilton Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Tournament Opponent on Friday.
