Soccer Recap: Treynor Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Treynor hasn't lost a match since April 5th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs a 5-0 shutout. Considering Treynor have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Treynor pushed their record up to 8-1-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Denison-Schleswig, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4-2.

Treynor has already played their next game (against Van Meter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Denison-Schleswig, they will head out on the road to face off against Kuemper at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Kuemper will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Denison-Schleswig surely won't give up without a fight.
