Volleyball Recap: Millennium Comes Up Short

Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-9, 25-12.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy can attribute much of their success to Wendy Nguyen, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Nguyen a new career-high.

Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Millennium didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Aspire Langston Hughes Academy on the 7th. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Stockton Christian on the 3rd.
