Volleyball Recap: The Vanguard School Takes a Loss

The Vanguard School lost against Pueblo South back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Coursers lost 3-0 to the Colts. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Coursers have suffered since March 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 25-14.

Anthony Tyshkevich paced The Vanguard School's offense, picking up nine kills. Tyshkevich got some help from Joseph Wetters and his 24 assists.

The Vanguard School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Pueblo South, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. The Vanguard School is set to square off against their familiar foe Colorado Springs Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pueblo South will take on rival Canon City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
