Basketball Recap: Powdersville Finds Playoff Glory Versus Belton-Honea Path

It's playoff time, and Powdersville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 66-56 win over the Belton-Honea Path Bears on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

Powdersville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landen Sullivan, who en route to 20 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Sullivan a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Von Burton, who on his way to 16 points.

Powdersville's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Belton-Honea Path, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-11.

Coming up, Powdersville will face off against Christ Church Episcopal on Friday. One thing working in Powdersville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 19 contests. Belton-Honea Path does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
