Football Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Highland Baptist Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vinton, Westminster Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They really took it to the Highland Baptist Christian Bears for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-14 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

Westminster Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Highland Baptist Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westminster Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Gueydan at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Highland Baptist Christian will take on rival Ascension Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
