Football Recap: Pieper Warriors vs. Southwest Legacy Titans

Pieper had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They really took it to the Southwest Legacy Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-0 victory. The Warriors' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Cayden Keeth continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 284 yards and five touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. He has been hot , having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played. Andrew Grinestaff was in the mix as well, providing Pieper with two touchdowns.

Pieper wouldn't let Southwest Legacy keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Pieper can thank Grant Oling and Kylor Scheppler for forcing both of them. Scheppler also set a new season high mark in total tackles with ten.

Pieper's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Southwest Legacy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.

Pieper will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Flour Bluff at 7:00 p.m. Pieper knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Flour Bluff likes a good challenge. Southwest Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
