Basketball Recap: Galesburg's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Galesburg lost against Sterling back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Silver Streaks took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Warriors. The matchup marked the Silver Streaks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Galesburg fell to 6-1. As for Sterling, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Galesburg is set to face off against their familiar foe Moline at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sterling will square off against rival Alleman at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
