Mendon extended the longest winning streak in Saint Joseph Valley this week by beating Pewamo-Westphalia, 15-12. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Bronson moved up to 375 from 430 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Vikings climbed the ranks as a result of besting Bath 22-18.
Mendon's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nick Eberstein has thrown for 857 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Elijah Klepper has eight catches for 191 yards. Eberstein also leads the league in rushing with 514 yards.
Mendon and the Pirates played the most hotly contested game in Saint Joseph Valley this week, with Mendon eventually emerging with a 15-12 victory. Eberstein threw for 109 yards and one touchdown and ran for 39 yards in the win.
