Pusch Ridge Christian Academy is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since November 29, 2024 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Palo Verde 49-17. With the Lions ahead 34-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Brooke Sanburn, who made all 7 shots she took racking up 14 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nicole NJoroge, who posted eight points.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 11 consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Pima humbled Leading Edge Academy - GEC with a 62-32 victory. The Roughriders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Pima's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.1 points per game. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pima in their previous meeting back in January of 2016, but they still walked away with a 51-47 victory.
