On Thursday Baruch College's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Manhattan Village Academy Silver Hawks 4-2. The four-run effort marked the Blue Devils Bearcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Baruch College pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.0 runs this season. As for Manhattan Village Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Baruch College is taking a road trip to face off against University Neighborhood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils Bearcats will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season. As for Manhattan Village Academy, they will be playing at home against Chelsea at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
