Basketball Recap: Stowe Comes Up Short

Stowe lost against Bellows Free Academy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stowe Raiders fell just short of the Bellows Free Academy Bullets by a score of 72-70. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (55), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

Stowe has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Bellows Free Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Stowe will be playing at home against Richford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bellows Free Academy, they will host Williamstown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
