Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McEwen). They took down the Stewart County Rebels 65-51 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now won eight in a row.

Stewart County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Bisogno, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Kyrick Wallace, who shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points and eight assists.

The victory got McEwen back to even at 5-5. As for Stewart County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Coming up, McEwen will be home for the holidays to greet Waverly Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stewart County, they will head out to square off against Houston County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
