Football Recap: Skyline Has No Trouble Against Longmont

Longmont kept up with Skyline until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Falcons blew past the Trojans 55-33. Considering the Falcons have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Servando Morales threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81% of his passes. Ben Kearns was his top target, picking up 128 receiving yards and one score.

When it comes to explaining why Longmont lost, don't look at Jacob Foot. Despite the final result, he rushed for 210 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry.

Skyline is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Longmont, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
