Volleyball Recap: Lake Worth Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lake Worth Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminole Ridge Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Defenders of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Cassidy Childers paced Lake Worth Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Childers got some help from Ashley Williams and her 15 assists. Childers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Emma Ginther, who had 21 digs and two assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Lake Worth Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Seminole Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Lake Worth Christian has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Atlantic Christian on the 22nd. As for Seminole Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Dwyer on the 24th.
