Volleyball Game Preview: J.I. Burton Black Raiders vs. Castlewood Blue Devils + How To Watch

J.I. Burton has gone 8-2 against Castlewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Black Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m.

J.I. Burton came up short against Eastside on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Black Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Eastside scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Castlewood made easy work of Council on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Cobras: they've now won eight in a row.

Castlewood not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Council between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

J.I. Burton's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Castlewood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
