Football Recap: Cassville Beats Nevada for Their Third Straight Victory

Cassville waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Nevada Tigers by a score of 27-20. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Wildcats were the (much) better team in the second half.

Cassville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Nevada, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cassville is set to challenge their familiar foe Monett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nevada will take on rival Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
