Xavier Prep had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Apple Valley Sun Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Saints have posted since August 9th.

Xavier Prep wouldn't go down easily and took Apple Valley into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-27, 15-6.

Apple Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of SALLY BALLAT, who had 12 digs and two aces, and AVA DE VILLE, who had 15 digs, five kills, and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of BROOKLYNN CARLUCCI, who had 13 digs and two aces.

Xavier Prep's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Apple Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Xavier Prep will challenge Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Apple Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Palm Desert at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
