Baseball Recap: Clermont Northeastern Find Success

Clermont Northeastern was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past the Finneytown Wildcats 3-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rockets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Clermont Northeastern's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Josh Groeber, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Groeber's first of the season.

Clermont Northeastern now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Finneytown, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Clermont Northeastern nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
