James Logan won against Mission San Jose on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Colts didn't even let the American Eagles on the board, marking the Colts' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Gabriella Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, James Logan let Ava Medellin and Janessa Parras run wild. Medellin went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Parras went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those four hits gave Parras a new career-high. Selena Gonzales was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The victory (which was James Logan's fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for American, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
