Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Beats Adams-Friendship for Their Fourth Straight Victory

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Aquinas had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Adams-Friendship Green Devils 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Blugolds, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-18.

Aubrey Coyne was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Aquinas now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Adams-Friendship, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 20-11 record.

Looking ahead, Aquinas will face off against Viroqua at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Adams-Friendship does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
