Volleyball Recap: Normal West Takes a Loss

Normal West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Benet Academy Redwings. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Redwings from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-21.

Normal West's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Benet Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Normal West and Benet Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Wildcats are set to take on their familiar foe Urbana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Benet Academy will face off against rival Nazareth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
