Basketball Recap: West Branch Makes It 16 in a Row at Home

West Branch won the last time they faced Tussey Mountain and things went their way on Monday too. The West Branch Warriors blew past the Tussey Mountain Titans 70-47. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

West Branch's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan McGonigal, who posted 22 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Koleno, who put up 23 points and eight rebounds.

Tussey Mountain lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Landon Myers, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 18 points. Jax Garner was another key player, putting up six points.

West Branch's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Tussey Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
