Warsaw skates past NorthWood with ease

Recap: Warsaw Tigers vs. NorthWood Panthers

The Warsaw Tigers came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 66-29 victory over NorthWood at home. The result was nothing new for Warsaw, who have now won three matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Warsaw found their leader in underclassman Joslyn Bricker, who scored 26 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds. The matchup was Bricker's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brooke Zartman, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.

NorthWood's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Claire Payne, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds, and Joselyn Edwards who scored 9 points. Kinzee Hartman was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.

Warsaw's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for NorthWood, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Warsaw will head out on the road to face off against Ben Davis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ben Davis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Warsaw is ranked 42nd). As for NorthWood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Concord at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
