Volleyball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Summit Christian Academy lost against Lebanon back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets.

Charlee Pollard paced Summit Christian Academy's offense, picking up two kills. Pollard got some help from Rilyn Richards-Hamburg and her four assists. Finally, Mary Franklin kept Summit Christian Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lebanon, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Summit Christian Academy has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Bolivar on the 30th. As for Lebanon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Carthage on the 30th.
