Basketball Recap: Logan Mcmillan's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Georgia Military College over Glascock County

Georgia Military College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glascock County Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 39-37 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan McMillan, who posted 11 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Damien Moore, who put up six points and 17 rebounds.

Georgia Military College's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Glascock County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Georgia Military College didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-35 loss against Lake Oconee Academy on the 4th. As for Glascock County, they will face off against Johnson County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
