Soccer Game Preview: McArthur vs. Flanagan

McArthur is 2-8 against Flanagan since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The McArthur Mustangs will welcome the Flanagan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

McArthur is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. 2025 welcomed they with a 7-0 loss courtesy of South Broward. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 529th, while the Bulldogs are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Flanagan faced off against Stoneman Douglas back in December of 2024. Flanagan fell 2-0 to Stoneman Douglas. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Flanagan's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-3. As for McArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
