Mercer has gone a perfect 10-0 against Solon Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Mercer is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Mercer came up short against Bayfield and fell 3-1. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trollers 25-20 in the first set.

Mercer started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-15.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Stella Thompson, who had 13 assists and seven digs. Kaylee Powers was another key player, getting nine digs and five kills.

Meanwhile, Solon Springs also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Augusta by a score of 2-0.

Mercer's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Solon Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Everything went Mercer's way against Solon Springs in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Mercer made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
