Volleyball Game Preview: Vista del Lago Eagles vs. Christian Brothers Falcons + How To Watch

Vista del Lago is 2-8 against Christian Brothers since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Eagles will challenge the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Vista del Lago was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Rio Americano, sneaking past 3-2. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

In the three sets Vista del Lago was on fire: they won each by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 8-25, 23-25, 25-0, 25-0, 15-0.

Meanwhile, Christian Brothers beat Inderkum 3-1 on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 26-28, 25-22.

Vista del Lago's record now sits at 9-5. As for Christian Brothers, their record is now 14-12.

Vista del Lago was able to grind out a solid victory over Christian Brothers when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
