Volleyball Recap: D'evelyn Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

D'Evelyn and Lutheran squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but D'Evelyn had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Lions. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elijah Osborne paced D'Evelyn's offense, picking up 12 kills. Osborne got some help from Tarin Cavanaugh and his 36 assists. Cavanaugh was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

D'Evelyn's loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

D'Evelyn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lutheran, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Severance on the 10th.
