Flag Football Recap: Crenshaw Comes Up Short

Crenshaw was the 7-0 winner over Dorsey when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 13-6 to the Dons on Monday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Crenshaw still got an impressive performance from Taliyah Sugar, who picked up 66 receiving yards and one touchdown. Sugar also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes.

Crenshaw's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Dorsey, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

Crenshaw wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Jordan on the 13th. As for Dorsey, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-0 victory against Dymally on the 13th.
