Softball Preview: Maud Cardinals vs. Bloomburg Wildcats

Maud is 2-8 against Bloomburg since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Maud Cardinals will look to defend their home field against the Bloomburg Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Maud is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Maud is is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bowie.

Keira Mangtamag put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk).
