Basketball Recap: Shining Rock Classical Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Oliver Kalra and Hudson Moody

Shining Rock Classical Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 58-36 to the Temple Baptist Eagles. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Hudson Moody and Oliver Kalra certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Moody posted 15 points, while Kalra put up 12 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Temple Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Lanning, who had ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Silvers, who earned nine points.

Shining Rock Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Temple Baptist, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Shining Rock Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-39 victory against Bethel Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Temple Baptist, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-45 defeat against The Master's Academy on the 20th.
