Volleyball Recap: Armuchee's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Armuchee posted their closest victory since October 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Oak Mountain Academy Warriors 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Ansley Cordle paced Armuchee's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cordle got some help from Ava Grace Crump and her 31 assists. Cordle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Armuchee's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Armuchee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rome on the 23rd. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Temple on the 19th.
