Recap: Tallulah Falls Indians vs. Rabun County Wildcats
The Tallulah Falls Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 62-54 to Rabun County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tallulah Falls in their matchups with Rabun County: they've now lost six in a row.
Rabun County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Huey Blalock led the charge by scoring 22 points along with six assists. Jack Hood was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Tallulah Falls has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Rabun County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.
Tallulah Falls will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Elbert County at 7:30 p.m. Elbert County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Rabun County, they will head out on the road to challenge Commerce at 8:30 a.m. on Friday. Hopefully Commerce focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
