Gillespie extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 10-5 in the process. They blew past the Dupo Tigers 19-5. Considering the Miners have won nine contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Paxton Reid was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk).
