Baseball Recap: Miller Wins Going Away Against Falfurrias

Miller made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Falfurrias, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Miller Buccaneers put the hurt on the Falfurrias Fightin' Jerseys with a sharp 12-5 victory on Friday. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Buccaneers this season.

Romeo Castillo was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Miller and bumps their season record up to 3-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.5 runs. As for Falfurrias, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4-2.
