Carbon Hill came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Cordova Blue Devils with a sharp 55-30 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Blue Devils are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carbon Hill has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Cordova, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-19.
