Soccer Game Preview: Edison vs. Torres

The Edison Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Torres Toros at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Torres took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Edison, who comes in off a win.

Edison will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Bullard on Thursday. Edison blew past Bullard 4-1. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Torres was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to McLane. While losing is never fun, the Toros can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Highlanders are ranked 157th).

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 14-2-2. As for Torres, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
