Kamiak has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mariner recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Knights will host the Marauders at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kamiak has three straight wins, Mariner has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Kamiak barely beat Arlington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Kamiak, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mariner's offense. They came up short against Lake Stevens on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Mariner can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 278th, while Lake Stevens are ranked 31st).

Mariner's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1. As for Kamiak, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Everything went Kamiak's way against Mariner in their previous matchup back in September, as Kamiak made off with a 6-0 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marauders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
