Volleyball Recap: Kim/Branson Takes a Loss

Kim/Branson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crowley County Chargers. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Kim/Branson may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 12 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12.

Kim/Branson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Crowley County, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

Coincidentally, Kim/Branson and Crowley County will both be playing Calhan the next time they take the court. The Chargers will host the Bulldogs at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Mustangs will play them later in the day, at 9:30 a.m.
