Recap: Inglemoor Vikings vs. Redmond Mustangs
The Inglemoor Vikings entered their tilt with the Redmond Mustangs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Inglemoor walked away with a 47-35 victory over Redmond on Friday. This was payback for Inglemoor, who suffered a 48-42 loss the last time these two teams met.
Redmond's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Iha Kasam, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Yuki Willis, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Inglemoor has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Redmond, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglemoor will square off against Woodinville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Redmond won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Issaquah at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th.
