On Monday, Legacy made easy work of Mojave and carried off a 9-1 victory. The win continues a trend for Legacy in their matchups with Mojave: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Somerset Sky Pointe's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Cimarron-Memorial by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Somerset Sky Pointe in their meetings with Cimarron-Memorial: they've now lost six in a row.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Somerset Sky Pointe, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Everything went Legacy's way against Somerset Sky Pointe when the teams last played back in August, as Legacy made off with a 7-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Longhorns since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
