Volleyball Recap: Horizon Hawks vs. Resurrection Christian Cougars
Horizon suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Resurrection Christian Cougars. The Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
Allison Bailey paced Horizon's offense, picking up six kills. Bailey got some help from Reese Hudson and her 22 assists. Melanie Breeds controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Leading Resurrection Christian to victory were Blake Coors and Jada Nordhagen. Coors had nine digs and two assists, while Nordhagen had five digs. Sadie Whyard also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
