Basketball Recap: Round Valley Comes Up Short

Round Valley was the 77-70 winner over Fort Thomas when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Round Valley Elks took a blow against the Fort Thomas Apaches on Friday, falling 61-33. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Round Valley's loss came despite strong showings from Geron Baylish and Wyatt Reed. Baylish posted six points, while Reed earned nine points and six rebounds.

Round Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Fort Thomas, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Round Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-40 victory against Mogollon on the 13th. As for Fort Thomas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-49 win against Blue Ridge on the 13th.
