Softball Recap: Pecatonica Indians vs. South Beloit Sobos
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pecatonica walked away with it. They never let the South Beloit Sobos get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Maren Davis made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ellie Bolen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Addison Stender, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run.
