Basketball Recap: Berea Comes Up Short

Berea lost against Corbin back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pirates took a 71-57 bruising from the Redhounds. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Corbin, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Berea will be home for the holidays to greet Breathitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Corbin will take on Russell in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Redhounds' defense better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 64 points per game this season.
