Baseball Recap: Saddleback Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Saddleback was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 9-1 to the Century Centurions. The Roadrunners haven't had much luck with the Centurions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Saddleback's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Century, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saddleback will square off against Inglewood at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sentinels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.25 runs per game on average), something the Roadrunners will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Century, they will take on Orange at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
