Basketball Recap: Grayson Christian Takes a Loss

Grayson Christian was the 61-58 winner over Excel Christian Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Grayson Christian fell 64-55 to the Excel Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday.

Excel Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tristen Hoskins, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiden Ward, who earned 15 points.

Grayson Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Excel Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Grayson Christian has already played their next matchup (against Heritage Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Excel Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-39 win against Full Armor Christian Academy on the 23rd.
