Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask MAST Academy). They never let the Ransom Everglades Raiders onto the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. Give the Makos' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Ransom Everglades from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. David Holztreger led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

MAST Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-1-2. As for Ransom Everglades, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11-1.

MAST Academy will face off against Southwest at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. MAST Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Ransom Everglades, they will head out on the road to challenge Palmer Trinity at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Palmer Trinity's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
